Ein Ping ist eine kurzlebige Markierung auf der Karte. Damit zeigst du anderen, wo gerade etwas los ist, zum Beispiel eine Party, ein Event, gutes Essen oder ein spontaner Treffpunkt.

A ping is a short-lived marker on the map. It shows others where something is happening right now, like a party, an event, great food or a spontaneous meetup.

Drück lange auf die Stelle auf der Karte, an der du den Ping setzen willst. Danach wählst du eine Kategorie, schreibst eine kurze Beschreibung und legst fest, wie lange der Ping sichtbar sein soll.

Long-press the spot on the map where you want to place the ping. Then pick a category, write a short description and choose how long the ping should stay visible.

Je nach gewählter Dauer 15 Minuten bis 3 Stunden, ab Level 20 auch 6 Stunden. Danach verschwindet der Ping automatisch von der Karte. Deine Standarddauer kannst du in den Einstellungen festlegen.

Between 15 minutes and 3 hours depending on the duration you choose, or 6 hours from level 20. After that the ping disappears from the map automatically. You can set your default duration in Settings.

Wenn du höchstens 50 m von einem Ping entfernt bist, kannst du einchecken und bekommst Erfahrungspunkte. Mit steigendem Level schaltest du neue Funktionen frei.

If you're within 50 m of a ping, you can check in and earn experience points. As your level rises, you unlock new features.

Nur wenn du „In der Nähe sichtbar“ einschaltest, sehen dich andere Nutzer im Umkreis von 300 m. Standardmäßig ist das aus. Dein Standort wird nur geteilt, während du die App nutzt, und du kannst die Sichtbarkeit jederzeit wieder ausschalten.

Other users within 300 m can only see you if you turn on "Visible nearby". It's off by default. Your location is only shared while you're using the app, and you can turn visibility off at any time.

Folge der Person. Sobald ihr euch gegenseitig folgt, wird der Chat automatisch freigeschaltet. Lesebestätigungen und Tipp-Anzeige kannst du unter Datenschutz und Sicherheit im Chat abschalten.

Follow them. As soon as you follow each other, chat is unlocked automatically. You can turn off read receipts and the typing indicator under Privacy and security in the chat.

Öffne das Profil der Person oder im Chat „Datenschutz und Sicherheit“ und wähle „Blockieren“ oder „Blockieren und melden“. Die Person kann dir dann weder folgen noch schreiben, und ihr seht gegenseitig weder eure Pings noch euren Standort. Einzelne Pings meldest du direkt über den Ping. Blockierungen hebst du unter Einstellungen → Blockierte Nutzer wieder auf.

Open the person's profile or "Privacy and security" in the chat and choose "Block" or "Block and report". They can then no longer follow or message you, and neither of you sees the other's pings or location. You report individual pings directly from the ping. You can unblock people under Settings → Blocked users.

Jede Meldung landet bei unserem Moderationsteam. Verstößt ein Inhalt gegen unsere Community-Richtlinien, entfernen wir ihn und können das Konto vorübergehend oder dauerhaft sperren. Den gemeldeten Ping siehst du selbst sofort nicht mehr.

Every report goes to our moderation team. If content violates our community guidelines, we remove it and may suspend the account temporarily or permanently. You stop seeing the reported ping right away.

Prüfe, ob Benachrichtigungen für Ping in den Systemeinstellungen deines Handys erlaubt sind und ob die gewünschte Art in den App-Einstellungen eingeschaltet ist. Melde dich danach einmal ab und wieder an.

Check that notifications for Ping are allowed in your phone's system settings and that the type you want is turned on in the app's settings. Then log out and back in once.

Tippe beim Login auf „Passwort vergessen?“ und gib deine E-Mail-Adresse ein. Du bekommst einen Link, über den du in der App ein neues Passwort festlegst.

Tap "Forgot password?" on the login screen and enter your email address. You'll get a link that lets you set a new password in the app.

Ganz unten in den Einstellungen findest du „Account löschen“. Zur Bestätigung tippst du „löschen“ ein. Dabei werden dein Profil, deine Pings und deine Nachrichten dauerhaft entfernt. Alle Details findest du auf der Seite Account löschen.

You'll find "Delete account" at the bottom of Settings. To confirm, type "delete". Your profile, pings and messages will be permanently removed. Find all details on the Delete account page.
