Diese Seite erklärt, wie du deinen Account bei Ping (Entwickler: Kyrex Studio) löschst und was dabei mit deinen Daten passiert.
Weg 1: Direkt in der App (sofort)
- Öffne Ping und melde dich an.
- Tippe unten auf Profil und dann oben rechts auf das Zahnrad (Einstellungen).
- Scrolle ganz nach unten und tippe auf Account löschen.
- Tippe zur Bestätigung das Wort löschen ein und bestätige.
Dein Account wird sofort gelöscht und du wirst abgemeldet.
Weg 2: Per E-Mail (ohne App)
Du hast keinen Zugriff mehr auf die App? Schreib von der E-Mail-Adresse, mit der du registriert bist, an developer@kyrexstudio.org mit dem Betreff „Account löschen“ und deinem Benutzernamen. Wir löschen deinen Account innerhalb von 30 Tagen und bestätigen dir das per E-Mail. Zum Schutz vor Missbrauch löschen wir nur auf Anfrage von der hinterlegten E-Mail-Adresse.
Was wird gelöscht?
- dein Account mit E-Mail-Adresse und Passwort,
- dein Profil: Benutzername, Geburtsdatum, Geschlecht, Profilbild, Bio, Level und Erfahrungspunkte,
- alle deine Pings, Check-ins und besuchten Pings,
- deine Chatnachrichten, Folgen und Follower, Blockierungen und deine Meldungen,
- dein geteilter Standort, deine Einstellungen und deine Geräte-Tokens für Push-Benachrichtigungen.
Was wird ausnahmsweise aufbewahrt?
- Moderationsprotokoll: Haben wir einen deiner Inhalte wegen eines Verstoßes entfernt oder deinen Account gesperrt, bewahren wir den Eintrag dazu auf, solange es zur Nachvollziehbarkeit und zur Abwehr von Rechtsansprüchen erforderlich ist.
- Sicherungskopien: Technische Datensicherungen unseres Hosting-Anbieters werden regelmäßig überschrieben. Darin enthaltene Daten verschwinden spätestens nach 30 Tagen.
Nur einzelne Daten löschen
Du musst nicht gleich den ganzen Account löschen: Pings, Profilbild und Bio kannst du direkt in der App entfernen. Eine eigene Chatnachricht löschst du für beide, indem du sie lange drückst. Über „Chat löschen“ in den Chat-Informationen unter „Datenschutz und Sicherheit“ entfernst du einen Verlauf nur für dich, die andere Person behält ihn. Deinen geteilten Standort löschst du, indem du „In der Nähe sichtbar“ ausschaltest. Für alles andere schreib uns an developer@kyrexstudio.org.
This page explains how to delete your Ping account (developer: Kyrex Studio) and what happens to your data.
Option 1: Directly in the app (immediately)
- Open Ping and log in.
- Tap Profile at the bottom and then the gear icon (Settings) at the top right.
- Scroll all the way down and tap Delete account.
- Type the word delete to confirm and confirm again.
Your account is deleted immediately and you are logged out.
Option 2: By email (without the app)
Can't access the app anymore? Write from the email address you registered with to developer@kyrexstudio.org with the subject "Delete account" and your username. We will delete your account within 30 days and confirm it by email. To prevent abuse, we only delete on request from the registered email address.
What is deleted?
- your account including email address and password,
- your profile: username, date of birth, gender, profile picture, bio, level and experience points,
- all your pings, check-ins and visited pings,
- your chat messages, follows and followers, blocks and your reports,
- your shared location, your settings and your device tokens for push notifications.
What is kept in exceptional cases?
- Moderation log: if we removed any of your content for a violation or suspended your account, we keep that record as long as necessary for traceability and to defend legal claims.
- Backups: technical backups by our hosting provider are overwritten regularly. Data contained in them disappears after 30 days at the latest.
Delete only some data
You don't have to delete your whole account: you can remove pings, your profile picture and bio directly in the app. You delete one of your own chat messages for both of you by long-pressing it. With "Delete chat" under "Privacy and security" in the chat info, you remove a conversation for yourself only, the other person keeps it. You delete your shared location by turning off "Visible nearby". For anything else, email us at developer@kyrexstudio.org.
